A look back at the RMA afterwork: working together to understand the challenges of CSRD

A look back at the RMA afterwork: working together to understand the challenges of CSRD

On November 5, we had the pleasure of bringing together our clients, partners, and RMA employees for an after-work event dedicated to the new European CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) regulation.

A complex subject, but one that is essential for all companies that want to anticipate, adapt, and engage their stakeholders. This special event provided an opportunity to exchange views, share concrete experiences, and gain a better understanding of the transformations to come.

CSRD: more than an obligation, a strategic lever

During the evening, we discussed what is really changing for companies with the arrival of CSRD:

  • How the new European standards redefine corporate strategy,
  • What is the impact on stakeholders: managers, employees, customers, suppliers, investors, bankers and insurers?
  • How to integrate these new expectations into internal processes and relationships with the entire value chain.

A rich exchange, punctuated by concrete cases, including the results of our own double materiality analysis for the ORA Group, shared as a common thread throughout the evening.

New tools for better management and communication

The CSRD also means the arrival of new management and strategic communication tools.

We talked about :

  • Future non-financial indicators,
  • Reporting requirements,
  • And above all: how to make this information readable and useful, to create value at every level of the company.

Beyond the figures, a new way of telling the company story is taking shape, with greater transparency and meaning.

Governance, value chain, sustainable transformation: the main themes covered

The discussion also highlighted the impact of CSRD on governance and internal organization, as well as on supplier relations and the way in which business opportunities are approached from a sustainability angle.

Far from being a simple compliance exercise, CSRD becomes a trigger for long-term strategic thinking, with a more responsible and integrated vision.

Thanks to our partners for their commitment

Many thanks to all the participants for the quality of the discussions, and especially to our partner Meneao, who provided invaluable insights throughout the evening.

Their ideas and experience greatly enriched the discussion and provided the companies present with concrete ideas.

What's next? From reflection to action

At RMA, we are convinced that adapting to new regulatory requirements requires shared understanding and collective mobilization.

This afterwork is just the beginning. Other moments of exchange will follow, as we continue to support our customers and partners in the sustainable transformation of their corporate strategy.
