Background & challenges

SNCF Connect is the SNCF's application to facilitate travel in France. It brings together a wide range of services for both long-distance and regional travel, and aims to be an "all-in-one" platform for planning, booking, monitoring and modifying journeys, as well as managing season tickets, discount cards, urban transport tickets...

Since 2023, RMA has been accompanying SNCF Connect to meet travelers in the field to promote the app and gather feedback from app users.

The challenge: organize a tour of events in a selection of emblematic stations (Paris, Lyon, Nice, Nantes and Lille) to raise awareness of the application, its new features and create a direct link with passengers.

The objectives were clear:

  • Promote the application to new users.
  • Present key features live.
  • Gather feedback from travelers.
  • Create commitment through interactive and friendly animation.

An ambitious project, carried out in complex premises (ERP), requiring precise logistics and a tailor-made set-up.

Device in place

To meet this challenge, RMA designed and deployed a turnkey operation, from visual creation to field animation.

High-impact, ERP-compliant media

Video walls, reception counters, customized floor mats and roll-ups, all M1 fire-retardant certified.

Adapted technical resources

Dedicated computer hardware and independent Internet connection to facilitate demonstrations.

Meticulous logistics

A dedicated vehicle to transport equipment between stations and a stage manager in charge of daily set-up and dismantling.

An expert animation team

Hosts and hostesses selected for their people skills to welcome, explain and bring the SNCF Connect experience to life.

Rigorous upstream preparation

Technical files, authorizations, inspections... Every detail has been anticipated to guarantee compliance and the success of the operation.

Results & impact

For one or two days, each selected station is transformed into a genuine interactive space, attracting a constant flow of travelers. The experiment enabled :

  • Attract and engage a wide audience, mixing regular users and curious visitors.
  • Obtain immediate feedback on the application, invaluable for enriching the customer experience.
  • Increase awareness of SNCF Connect, by creating a visible buzz around the brand.

The satisfaction rate was very high: travelers praised the availability of the entertainers, the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the discussions.
